Easy Appam Recipe


Ingredients: 

2 cups rice flour

1 cup cooked rice

1 teaspoon active dry yeast

2 tablespoon sugar

2 cups water / coconut milk (your preference, but coconut milk tastes better!)

Pinch of salt


Instructions:

1. Mix all the ingredients (except salt) into a smooth batter.

2. Cover and let it rest for half an hour. 

3. Add in a pinch of salt.

4. Heat an appam pan on medium heat.

5. Once the pan is heated up, add a ladle full to the pan and swirl it around in shape of an appam.

6. Keep till brown on sides, you could cover it to maintain the heat of the pan.
